When Hananiah Nothos woke up it was still dark outside. He and his companions who shared the cave with him did not have to change--they wore the same clothes day and night. After washing their hands, they hurried to the morning prayer...

I went looking for the latest news on the DSS and found a listing
for a broadcast that could prove insightful, or at least interesting.

From DeseretNews.com
Monday, May 5, 2008:
LDS Perspectives on Dead Sea Scrolls, BYUTV, 9 p.m.

Since it's on BYU TV I imagine it will be webcasted on www.byu.tv.
And the time of 9 p.m. is Mountain Daylight Time.

If you miss it, it will be available on the BYU.tv site after airing.
I'll try to tune in so we can have a discussion about it! :)

Have a great weekend!

Greetings, lovelies! I am the creator and sole maintainer of this community but I am looking to bring in another moderator! I am often MIA from LJ for extended amounts of time, and when I am here I'm too focused on other responsibilities to handle this by myself. There aren't many posts here, but you'd be surprised how infrequently I come here. :\

I'm looking people who are active enough to be available if/when a problem arises or who can answer questions from members in my absence. If you are interested, please send me a message, or better yet just reply to this post :) If you do send me a message, please include the name of this community because I will be posting this to a few others as well.

Thank you so much for all your participation!

Cheers!

~Tammy

Hello Community Members!

While I fully appreciate the current activity in our community, I must make a few new rules for participation. 1) From this point on, if there are any posts that are over 4 paragraphs long, please make extra effor to put the remaining paragraphs behind an LJ CUT-TAG. I see that most of you have the hang of this handy tool, but in case someone out there is unfamiliar with how to utilize a CUT-TAG, please click here for a description. If you need further assistance, please contact me via commenting in my personal journal @ sh0kr0k. 2) If you make more than one post in the same day, I do ask that you condense your thoughts into the same message. There is no need to place more than one entry in the community per day. If you have already posted but forgot to write something, please do not make a new post. Instead, edit your previous entry, and add the text there. If you are unfamiliar with how to edit an entry, please click here to read all about it. You may also contact me for additional assistance, through my journal as well.

I'm very excited that we have grown and that there is so much knowledge present on this great and impactful sect of people! Please keep posting! I'm learning a lot from everyone! These rules help make a community that works for everyone!
